Business Disclaimer and Calculation Policy

1. Purpose of This Policy

Money By The Mile LLC ("we," "us," or "our") provides the MBM platform to help independent truck drivers and owner-operators estimate costs, analyze loads, plan routes, and manage their business operations. This policy explains the limitations of our tools and calculations and is incorporated into our Terms of Use.

2. Nature of Calculations and Estimates

All calculations, estimates, projections, and outputs produced by MBM tools — including but not limited to the Load Analyzer, Trip Planner, Tandem Weight Tool, Earnings Dashboard, and any fuel cost or profitability estimates — are:

• Estimates only. They are based on the data you enter and on publicly available or third-party data sources. They are not guarantees of actual results.
• Subject to input accuracy. The quality of any output depends entirely on the accuracy and completeness of the data you provide. Incorrect or incomplete inputs will produce incorrect or incomplete outputs.
• Subject to data source limitations. Where MBM uses third-party data (such as diesel fuel prices, HERE Maps routing data, or regulatory weight limits), we cannot guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of that data. Third-party data may be delayed, approximate, or subject to change without notice.
• Not real-time. Fuel prices, road conditions, regulatory limits, and other variables change frequently. MBM calculations reflect data available at the time of the calculation and may not reflect current conditions.

3. Load Analyzer

The Load Analyzer estimates load profitability based on inputs you provide, including rate per mile, distance, fuel cost, and other expenses. These estimates are for planning purposes only. Actual profitability will vary based on real-world conditions including actual fuel consumption, maintenance costs, tolls, delays, and other factors not captured in the estimate.

MBM does not guarantee that any load will be profitable. You are solely responsible for evaluating whether to accept or reject any load.

4. Trip Planner

The Trip Planner provides route suggestions, distance estimates, and fuel cost projections based on routing data from HERE Technologies and fuel price data from third-party sources. Actual routes, distances, and fuel costs may differ from estimates due to road conditions, construction, detours, actual vehicle fuel efficiency, and other factors.

MBM does not guarantee the accuracy of routing data or that suggested routes comply with all applicable regulations (including height, weight, or hazmat restrictions). You are responsible for verifying that your route and load comply with all applicable laws and regulations before operating your vehicle.

5. Tandem Weight Tool

The Tandem Weight Tool provides axle weight distribution estimates to assist with load planning. These estimates are based on the inputs you provide and general engineering principles. They are not a substitute for an official weigh station measurement or a certified scale.

Actual axle weights depend on many variables including vehicle configuration, load distribution, and road conditions. MBM does not guarantee that any weight distribution estimate will result in compliance with applicable federal, state, or local weight limits. You are solely responsible for ensuring your vehicle and load comply with all applicable weight regulations. Overweight violations and associated fines, penalties, or liability are your sole responsibility.

6. Earnings Dashboard and Financial Estimates

The Earnings Dashboard aggregates data you enter about completed loads and expenses to provide an overview of your earnings. This information is derived from your own inputs and is not verified by MBM. It does not constitute an accounting record, tax record, or financial statement.

MBM does not provide tax, accounting, or financial advice. You should consult a qualified accountant or tax professional for advice regarding your business finances, tax obligations, and recordkeeping requirements.

7. Fuel Price Data

Fuel price data displayed in MBM tools is sourced from third-party providers and may not reflect current prices at specific locations. Actual fuel prices at the pump will vary. MBM is not responsible for discrepancies between displayed fuel prices and actual prices you encounter.

8. Regulatory Compliance

MBM tools are designed to assist with planning and do not constitute legal advice. Federal, state, and local regulations governing commercial motor vehicles — including weight limits, hours of service, licensing, insurance, and hazardous materials requirements — are complex and subject to change. You are solely responsible for understanding and complying with all applicable regulations. MBM does not warrant that use of our tools will result in regulatory compliance.

9. No Professional Advice

Nothing on the MBM platform constitutes financial, legal, tax, accounting, insurance, or other professional advice. The platform is an operational tool, not a professional advisory service. For advice specific to your situation, consult a qualified professional.

10. Limitation of Liability for Calculation Errors

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, MONEY BY THE MILE LLC WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY LOSS, DAMAGE, FINE, PENALTY, OR OTHER CONSEQUENCE ARISING FROM YOUR RELIANCE ON ANY CALCULATION, ESTIMATE, OR OUTPUT PRODUCED BY THE MBM PLATFORM, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO OVERWEIGHT VIOLATIONS, LOST LOADS, FUEL COST OVERRUNS, OR BUSINESS LOSSES.

Our aggregate liability for any claim arising from the use of our calculation tools is subject to the limitation set out in Section 8 of our Terms of Use.

11. Accuracy Improvements

We continuously work to improve the accuracy of our tools and data sources. If you believe a calculation result is incorrect, please contact us at support@moneybythemile.com with details. We appreciate feedback that helps us improve the platform.
